Multiple Endings in Copenhagen

Abstract


The characters in Copenhagen make three attempts of trying finding out the truth of the meeting and supply a lot of possibilities. However, no possibility is pinned down. The result is the multi-ended play, which give the reader enough space to think about the event. This paper aims to explore the well-known play and tries to find out how its multiple endings contribute to a new version of the 1941 mysterious meeting.
