Screening for plagiarism
Authors submitting to CSCanada journals should be aware that their manuscripts have not been published elsewhere and only new and original articles may be considered for publication. Acts of plagiarism and self-plagiarism are not acceptable. Submitted works will be rejected and withdrawn from the journal’s website if they are discovered to be plagiarized. All sources, like words, ideas and concepts from existing publications, should be credited.
CSCanada use multiple ways to assist the journal editorial offices with screening for plagiarism. The methods include using different web-based software programs that compare documents and marks found similarities as a possible instance of plagiarism, as well as the referenced sources from academic databases.
CSCanada applies the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) license to all works we publish (read the human-readable summary or the full license legal code).
