Lu Xun’s Early Translations of Science Fiction

Abstract


De la terre à la lune and Voyage au centre de la terre are Lu Xun’s major translation works of the early years. The present paper firstly discusses the edition, language, strategy of these two translations, and on this basis analyses Lu Xun’s argument for effecting changes in the scientific and educational level by means of science fiction. Key words: Lu Xun, Science fiction, Translation Résumé : De la terre à la lune et Voyage au centre de la terre sont les premières œuvres importantes de traductions de Lu Xun. Cet article traite d’abord de l’édition, du vocabulaire, de la stratégie des deux traductions, et sur cette base il analyse la proposition de Lu Xun d’utiliser la science-fiction à des fins éducatives.
