A Room of Their Own

Jun QIAN

Abstract

Home is the traditional place for women. Women with a room with their own can actually live in a public space. This article is designed to analyze and compare the three texts: The Awakening, To Room Nineteen and The Color Purple and try to make clear how women are pursuing and entering their own room, thus how women win their real liberation.
