The first is the phenomenon of illegal migration and the other is the phenomenon of international migration.
The phenomenon of illegal immigration is a phenomenon that gains importance with the change of international security perceptions and is considered as a security threat.
Turkey, both geographical location as being sourced from the environmental status of developed country by country, international migration and illegal immigration, as well as being the country of transit countries also come to the fore. However, it is clear that it does not have as strict measures as other countries that have a say in the context of migration effects. This situation is directly related to the phenomenon of irregular migration as well as lack of data on migration and other migration related issues.
In this study, since the realization of the basic concepts explaining the phenomenon of migration for international migration in Turkey will be discussed likely to cause socio-economic problems. Turkey should both source and transit in migration issues in the target countries qualify as international issues will be discussed. In this case the cost of Turkey or sing with a clearer impact on market conditions functioning in Turkey will be investigated.
In this study, time series analysis will be studied. As the dependent variable is the number of immigrants who are present in Turkey determined arguments producer price index, consumer price index and gross domestic revenue. Gretel Lab Cloud program will use Breusch-Godfrey autocorrelation analysis. The study will be analyzed to cover the years 2005-2023. On the other hand, the data set to be used in the analysis will be discussed on an annual basis.
Machine learning models have the ability to detect hidden patterns in data and identify complex relationships between variables. The machine learning algorithms that will be used in this research can help us to analyse the factors affecting the migration phenomenon in Turkey and the effects of these factors on economic indicators.
Machine learning methods can reveal important information about the migration phenomenon in Turkey. Moreover, machine learning models can also be used to predict future migration trends. This may be effective in making more informed decisions while shaping Turkey’s policies on migration phenomenon.
However, should also consider the limitations of the machine learning methods. To use in our project. The quality and representativeness of the data set may affect the reliability of the machine learning results. Also, the complexity of the model and the interpretability of the results are important.
2023-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Higher Education of Social Sciencehttp://www.cscanada.net/index.php/hess/article/view/13257On the Application of Case-Based Teaching Method to the Course “Workshop of Ceramic Translation”2024-01-18T09:52:48+00:00Xiaohua HOUzhanruliu@163.comSainan LIUzhanruliu@163.com
Using the positivism research method, this paper discusses the application of case-based teaching method in the course of “ Workshop of Ceramic Translation”. Etodikenelsonetodike@gmail.com
Without proper engagement of students through the roles palyed by their parents and their teachers, students’ academic enegagement behaviour may deteriorate. This may be as a result of poor parental inolvment and poor academic resilience. Given this problem, this study examined parental involvement and academic resilience as predictors of academic engagement of secondary school students in Anambra State. The study adopted a correlational research design and guided by three research questions and three null hypotheses tested at 0.05 level of significance. The population of the study comprised of 19708 senior secondary class two (SS2) students from which a sample size of 960 was drawn through a multi-stage simple random technique. Three instruments were used for the study titled: Parental Involvement Questionnaire (PIQ), Academic Resilience Questionnaire (ARQ) and Academic Engagement Questionnaire (AEQ) and validated by three experts in the field of Educational Psychology. The Cronbach Alpha method was adopted in determining the reliability of the instruments and they yielded alpha coefficients of 0.78, 0.70 and 0.81 for PIQ, ARQ and AEQ respectively. Data collected were analyzed using simple correlation for answering research questions and simple regression analyses for testing the null hypotheses. Findings indicated that both parental involvement and academic resilience have a positive relationship with academic engagement. It further showed that parental involvement and academic resilience jointly contributed positively to the academic engagement of secondary school students in Anambra State. Based on the findings of the study, it was recommended that parents should continue to be involved in the education of their children which can boost the children’s resilience with a ripple effect of improving the academic engagement of their children.
2023-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Higher Education of Social Sciencehttp://www.cscanada.net/index.php/hess/article/view/13200Research on the Cultivation of Informatization Teaching Ability of College English Teachers2024-01-18T09:52:51+00:00Zemei LIU1833907149@qq.com
The rapid development of information technology, the emergence and application of artificial intelligence technology have opened the prelude to the era of intelligence. It argues that the humanities have transformative powers making vital societal contributions to academia. Academic research is no longer solely the pursuit of individual intellectual curiosity but is driven by national priorities tied to strategies of economic growth and competitiveness. Its importance derives primarily from the translation of knowledge into new products and services. This instrumentalist environment has created a disciplinary hierarchy in which the humanities have struggled for recognition and appreciation under pressure to demonstrate value and relevance. The humanities have long had a societal mission in the belief that society can only benefit from the pursuit of knowledge and the scholarship that they generate. This study concludes that this certainty faces challenges from the dominant knowledge economic policy paradigm with its strong focus on measurable impacts.
2023-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Higher Education of Social Sciencehttp://www.cscanada.net/index.php/hess/article/view/13267Research on the Integration of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education and Ideological and Political Education in Universities2024-01-18T09:52:53+00:00Litao SHI1833907149@qq.com
In the current social environment, innovation and entrepreneurship education and ideological and political education have become indispensable contents of talent cultivation in colleges and universities. There has been argument that the extent to which these objectives are attained or achieved in school, is therefore determined by the level of their parental engagement in the school activities, and the peer group they share similar characteristics with in school or even at home which in turn are shown in their academic performance. This study therefore look at the conflicts between the two variables. The study adopted a descriptive research design of survey type. The target population of this study is both the teachers and the students of selected schools and the estimated population is six hundred (600). A structured, self-constructed questionnaire was used as the instrument for collection of data for the study. The questionnaire is divided in two (2) sections A and B. Section “A” of the instrument contains respondent’s socio demographic information such as gender, occupation and the likes. Section B focuses on items or statements generated on the variables of the study as contained in the research questions. The findings from the study show that the children of the parents who monitor the academic progress of their wards make them to perform well and to choose good friends that results in joining peer group that enhances their performances in school. It is therefore, concluded that parental monitoring is an antidote to joining good peer group as well as good academic performance. It recommended among others, that curriculum designer should design curriculum in such a way that it will force or encourage parental monitoring of the academic performance of their wards.
2023-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Higher Education of Social Sciencehttp://www.cscanada.net/index.php/hess/article/view/13258Development of Fear of Fieldwork Counselling Practicum Scale2024-01-18T09:52:56+00:00Charles Ngozi Ugwuegbulamucharlesnet@gmail.comNgozi Damasius Duruucharlesnet@gmail.comNaheed Ibrahimucharlesnet@gmail.comVera Nwadinobiucharlesnet@gmail.com
This scale was borne out of observed and expressed needs of trainee counsellors concerning their being sent out for fieldwork counselling practicum exercise. The exercise induces fears into the trainee counsellors. The fear hinges on how they think they would perform at the end of the exercise. These fears cause them loss of weight. The fear stretches from getting a practicum site, obtaining clients for counselling, applying counselling skills correctly, appropriate use of psychological assessment tools, writing reports to submission of the total counselling report. The scale investigates these areas.
2023-12-26T00:00:00+00:00Copyright (c) 2024 Higher Education of Social Science
